TaylorMade drivers, Stealth 2 to Qi4D
TaylorMade has launched a new driver family every year since 2020. This guide covers the last four, Stealth 2, Qi10, Qi35 and Qi4D, each with several heads. Here's which head replaced which, what each cost new, and the lofts it came in.

The short answer
Each family has a standard head and a low-spin head, and since the Qi10 a Max head too. The low-spin line runs Stealth 2 Plus, Qi10 LS, Qi35 LS, Qi4D LS. The Stealth 2 HD was a draw-biased head with no successor named in our sources.
Launch prices barely moved: $599.99 for the standard head from the Stealth 2 to the Qi35, then $649.99 for every Qi4D head. Loft choices are steady too: 9°, 10.5° and 12° on the standard and Max heads, 8°, 9° and 10.5° on the low-spin heads, and the Qi4D standard head adds an 8°.
Every head, family by family
Launch price is the US price when the head came out. Select a driver to see its release date and sources.

Which head replaced which
Each line follows one head through the generations, as recorded in our catalogue: a successor with the same name, or one a launch article names.
- Stealth 2 → Qi10 → Qi35 → Qi4D
- Stealth 2 HD (no successor named in our sources)
- Stealth 2 Plus → Qi10 LS → Qi35 LS → Qi4D LS
- Qi10 Max → Qi35 Max → Qi4D Max
- Qi35 Max Lite → Qi4D Max Lite
Before you buy a used TaylorMade driver
Within a family the heads look alike but differ in weighting and spin, so check the head name on the sole or crown: a Qi35 LS is not a Qi35. Used drivers are often sold head-only, without a shaft. A head-only listing needs a shaft fitted with that brand's hosel adapter. Check that a head cover and wrench are included if you want them, and look at crown and face photos for sky marks and wear: see how condition grades compare and how to spot fake clubs. Buy from established sellers with a return policy.
Older models, and what we haven't catalogued
Older TaylorMade drivers have their own pages: the Stealth used from $226.98 (2022), SIM2 used from $224.99 (2021), SIM used from $214.98 (2020) and M3 used from $179.99 and M4 used from $179.99 (2018), each with its other heads; all are on the TaylorMade page. Not catalogued yet: women's builds of the Max Lite, the lighter Qi10 Max HL build and TaylorMade drivers before 2018.
