TaylorMade P790 (2023) vs P790 (2021)
The TaylorMade P790 (2023) used from $684.99 replaced the TaylorMade P790 (2021) used from $535.99. Here is what changed, side by side, from the same sourced figures as each spec page.
What changed
- Identical loft, lie and length on all 9 shared clubs: a single iron from one set fits the other at the right specs, though the head design differs.
Can I mix them?
By the numbers, yes: every club the two sets share has the same loft, lie and length, so an iron from the TaylorMade P790 (2021) fills a gap in a TaylorMade P790 (2023) set, and the other way round. The heads are different designs, so a mixed-in club can look, feel and sound different from its neighbours; what changed in the head is described below, from each set's page.
